International Leo Day – A celebration for Leos from around the world on December 5, the date the first Leo Club was formed in 1957. This annual occasion commemorates Leos for their dedicated community work and to recognise their commitment.  To amplify the voices of Leos around the world, the social media Thunderclap was created to help reach as many people as possible.  Here's how you can participate:

  1.  Visit the International Leo Day Thunderclap page.
  2.  Select Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, or all three!
  3.  Authorize Thunderclap to use your account (To post the message, and count your followers so we can measure the reach of the campaign).
  4.  Encourage your friends and followers to do the same.
  5.  Watch the message spread on December 5.

Leo Club Awareness Month – Takes place each April. Lions and Leos are encouraged to raise awareness of Leo clubs and share information about this important youth development program.
